An inventive noir brainteaser that's short but dense, filling out the package - not with fluff - but smart puzzles, visual gags, and a bucketful of inky black blood.

Delightfully Destructive

From the very first level in Escape Plan’s deadly maze of devious traps, it’s hard not to be amazed at how visually stunning the game looks on the PS Vita system’s screen. The original, black and white art style is darkly humorous, especially when one of the characters is hit by a falling object and is abruptly squashed into a pile of black gloop.

The characters themselves have so much personality, despite not being able to talk. Laarg seems vulnerable and a bit unsure of his surroundings, whereas Lil appears more serious and determined to reach his goal. Their unique personalities and amusing abilities will only increase your determination to help them dodge death.

Adding to the comedy aspect of the game is a classical soundtrack which, when coupled with an applauding crowd when Lil or Laarg falls short of reaching their goal, gives the game the feel of a classic silent film.

Packed with stunning visuals and dark humour, Escape Plan provides an original take on the side-scrolling puzzle genre.

The award-winning survival-humor game for the PS Vita system is now available for the PS4™ system!

Help hapless heroes Lil and Laarg interact with unique and twisted puzzles of each room. Only you can help them survive before their captor and nemesis, Bakuki, recycles them and turns them into his minions. Access 78 puzzle rooms and also receive access to Bakuki’s Lair, featuring an additional 19 rooms. Caged among the chaos of Bakuki’s Lair, Lil and Laarg are doomed without your help. Guide Lil and Laarg to safety by dashing past sausages blasted at your face, skipping over scalding hot cheese and avoiding a bevy of confusing death traps.

Purchase the PS4™ or PS Vita versions of Escape Plan™ through PS Store and receive the other versions at no additional cost.

CNN’s Larry Frum lists Escape Plan as one of the Top-Ten Best Games of 2012

It isn’t often that independent developers get to join in the company of such amazing big-studio franchises as Halo, Mass Effect or Far Cry – but Fun Bit’s break-out hit on the PSVita, Escape Plan, has been listed as one of the Top 10 Best Game experiences to enjoy in 2012.  The style and humor of Lil and Laarg captured Larry Frum’s heart, as he stated: “Escape Plan still gets played in my house months after its release — plus, seeing Lil on his coffee buzz is just laugh-out-loud funny.”

By | Escape Plan, We Love Our Fans | One Comment

Good news! On April 10th, Escape Plan owners will receive Bakuki’s Lair, the first DLC Pack for Escape Plan, via download of Patch 1.01. This free DLC Pack adds 19 prequel puzzle rooms to the adventures of Lil and Laarg.

Our hapless heroes’ journey begins anew with Lil and Laarg trapped in a hazardous sausage factory, where they will become bratwurst if they don’t bail. You’ll need to swipe for your life through a handful of dastardly designed puzzles in this latest update.

Bakuki’s Lair is just one of the benefits of the upcoming patch. Escape Plan Patch 1.01 is a meaty new addition, with a host of tweaks and improvements based on player feedback. Patch 1.01 allows for more pin-point accuracy on tap blocks, as well as an adjustment to the game’s star rating system. We are also laying the foundation for a lot of exciting updates for Lil and Laarg in the future.

Finally, be sure to check out the five brand new Escape Plan avatars we’re releasing on the PlayStation Store with this week’s publish. For you lucky PS Plus subscribers, these avatars will be free for a limited time, so grab them quickly!

We’re happy that fans are responding well to Escape Plan and we look forward to updating you all with more Lil and Laarg adventures in the near future.

If you haven’t yet picked up Escape Plan, it’s available now on PSN for $14.99.
